SUBJECT: Possible PBCSD News Articles

Review and provide
guidance regarding whatever modifications are considered appropriate, if any,
to the enclosed alternative draft articles that are proposed for publication in
the District’s PBCSD News.

Provide guidance
regarding the alternative draft articles directors prefer be published in the
next or subsequent issue (s) of PBCSD
News if, as is anticipated, there will not be sufficient space in the next
issue to include all articles.
Enclosed are 10 alternative
draft articles or information pieces for possible inclusion in the current
issue of the District’s newsletter, PBCSD
News. The subjects have been
selected on the basis of previous discussions with the Board, an evaluation of
important matters now under consideration by the District and with the goal of
clarifying PBCSD’s responsibilities and the objectives of the newsletter. It is probable
that all of the proposed articles cannot be published in the issue currently
being developed. Therefore, it is
suggested the Board provide guidance as to the order of publication priority it
prefers. One method to do this would be
to numerically rate each subject, i.e. from 1 to 10. Also, some short information pieces can be
considered “fillers” and/or as pieces that should be repeated in subsequent
newsletters. Subject to Board guidance,
staff suggests the following or similar order of priority:
